The Electronic Filing and Payment System (eFPS) is the BIR’s online system that caters to online tax filing and payment. It is geared towards making transactions with taxpayers smoother and more convenient.
According to expert tax and audit services in the Philippines, Only qualified companies or individuals are allowed to use the eFPS system. This includes the top 20,000 private corporations, the top 5,000 individual taxpayers, government bidders, big companies, stockbrokers, insurance companies, and national government agencies.
If you do not belong to the aforementioned qualified users of the eFPS, you may file and pay your taxes at the Revenue District Office (RDO) where you are registered or do so through eBIRForms. Seek help from professional tax and accounting services in the Philippines to ascertain you’re tax compliant. After all, you want to avoid errors that result in stiff penalties.
Before paying your taxes through the eFPS system, you must first file your tax return on the eFPS website. Additionally, you can only file and carry out payments if you are registered to the BIR eFPS.

After you have been redirected to the eFPS application form, fill out the required fields. This will include the name of the person or company applying, its tax identification number (TIN), and other business or profession-specific questions.
After filling out the required fields click submit.
Await the confirmation receipt to be sent to the email that you registered with the system. Only when your application has been accepted will your account be activated.
