The Electronic Filing and Payment System (eFPS) is the BIR’s online system that caters to online tax filing and payment. It is geared towards making transactions with taxpayers smoother and more convenient.
According to expert tax and audit services in the Philippines, Only qualified companies or individuals are allowed to use the eFPS system. This includes the top 20,000 private corporations, the top 5,000 individual taxpayers, government bidders, big companies, stockbrokers, insurance companies, and national government agencies.
If you do not belong to the aforementioned qualified users of the eFPS, you may file and pay your taxes at the Revenue District Office (RDO) where you are registered or do so through eBIRForms.
